An appropriate March Madness theme to this edition of Show-Cause Conversations. We welcome on Chad Lutkenhaus, number 11 in your programs number one in the ticket office for FGCU. Chad played for the Eagles right up to the Dunk City run in 2013 to the Sweet 16, and at which time he was working in the Athletic Department for the Ticket Office. He got to experience the rapid rise of FGCU Basketball as much as anyone, and then got a firsthand account of the tidal wave of hysteria around Dunk City.
He candidly shares what made the run so special and also what made it so challenging from a departmental standpoint. He also graciously shares why he chose to move on from college athletics and gives perspective on how he views the modern game with all the changes to how teams are built.
I appreciated him taking the time to go in-depth on some memorable times. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
